A.Breeding Area
We understand that raising healthy, high-quality discus fish requires dedication, expertise, and the right environment. At our facility, we’ve created a breeding area that reflects our commitment to the well-being of every fish.
With over 150 tanks and 80 carefully selected breeding pairs, we’re able to supply the market with at least 7,000 discus each year, depending on their size—all bred with the utmost care and attention to detail.
To ensure the best care at every stage of their development, we’ve divided our breeding area into 4 specialized zones, each tailored to the specific needs of our discus.
1. Parent Fish Preparation Area:
In this area, we focus on selecting and nurturing our breeding pairs with the utmost care. We make sure each pair meets our high standards for quality and genetic health.
By carefully monitoring and documenting each generation, we prevent potential genetic issues, ensuring the integrity of our stock. During this time, we pay special attention to the health of the parent fish, particularly as they approach spawning.
Our goal is to ensure they are strong and healthy, as we’ve seen how the process of raising fry can take a toll on them.

2. Incubation and Fry Rearing Area:

When a pair is ready to spawn, we move them to this dedicated space, where the conditions are just right for egg incubation and early fry development.
We’ve designed this area to minimize common issues like infertile eggs, hatching problems, or parents accidentally consuming their eggs. This careful management helps us give each new generation the best possible start in life.
As soon as the young fish are strong enough to be on their own, they are transferred to this area. This stage is crucial because juvenile fish are particularly susceptible to diseases.
We keep a close eye on them, ready to step in with treatments if needed, to ensure they grow up healthy and robust. Our proactive approach here helps prevent the spread of any illnesses, giving our fish the best chance to thrive.

3. Juvenile Discus Fish Area:
4. Adult Fish Area:

Once our discus reach a size of about 2.5 inches, they are moved to this area. Here, we continue to care for them, selecting the best fish that meet our quality standards.
We also maintain several hospital tanks in this area, always ready to isolate and treat any fish that show signs of illness. Our quick response helps protect the health of the entire group.
B. Water Storage Area
We know that water quality is one of the most important factors in keeping discus healthy. That’s why we go to great lengths to ensure the water they live in is just right.
Every day, we process and treat about 104,000 liters of water, carefully adjusting the pH and oxygen levels and removing any impurities or chlorine.
This meticulous process helps protect our fish from water-related stress and seasonal diseases, ensuring they live in an environment that supports their health and well-being.
