1. What if my discus die when I receive them?
Shipping live ornamental fish comes with more risks than other products. You may have heard that exporting ornamental fish is simple, but in reality, factors like weather, flight delays, slow customs clearance, transportation issues, and even lack of proper permits can increase the risk of fish dying during transit.
We share this because we believe it’s important to address these risks openly rather than avoid them. By facing these challenges together, we can find solutions before problems arise.
To give you peace of mind when working with us, we’ve created a Dead-On-Arrival (DOA) Policy. This policy outlines how we manage and share risks with you, our valued customer.
Ultimately, our goal is to ensure that the discus you purchase are worth your investment. We strive to make sure every shipment arrives safely so that we can continue to serve you in future transactions.
2. How long will it take to get my order?
The shipping time depends on your location and involves several steps:

Quarantine the fish before shipping: Minimum of 2 days.

Prepare documents for customs clearance: 2-3 working days.

Booking space with the airline and arranging shipment: Up to 2 days once the goods are in transit.
__ In conclusion, after our bank confirms receipt of your payment, we will arrange the shipment within 5-7 days.
We want your order to arrive in sync with your inventory and purchasing plans. To help with this, we’ve added an “Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) Recommended” section in our Contact Form. Please share your specific requirements with us during the discussion.
Additionally, if weather conditions are unfavorable—such as during tropical storms in Vietnam, which can impact flight schedules—we will notify you and seek your consent to adjust the shipping time to minimize risks.
3. Can I visit TrustDi?
Yes, of course! We would be delighted to welcome you. If you plan to visit, please notify us at least one month in advance so we can prepare and greet you in the most thoughtful way.
4. Can I receive any import tax incentives?
Depending on your country, free trade agreements may allow for tariff exemptions or reductions based on the negotiation roadmap between our countries.

5. What if the discus strains I’m looking for are not in the quote that TrustDi sent me?
The discus strains listed in our quote are those we have bred ourselves and are ready to send to you. However, we may not always have every strain in the specific size you require in stock.
If the specific discus strains you’re looking for aren’t in our quote, we can source them from other trusted suppliers. We have a wide network of discus breeders in Vietnam, ensuring we can offer you competitive pricing. We also take full responsibility for controlling and ensuring the quality of any discus we deliver to you.
For your peace of mind, we will notify you if we need to source discus from other suppliers. In such cases, we’ll send you prices and pictures/videos to ensure you’re satisfied with the quality and cost before proceeding.
6. What payment methods do you accept?
We accept payment via T/T (Telegraphic Transfer) and/or L/C (Letter of Credit).
